Grilled Tempeh with Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages tempeh cakes
  • 4 whole-wheat buns
  • {Barbecue Sauce}

Instructions:

Cut the tempeh cakes in half height-wise. Marinate the tempeh pieces in {Barbecue Sauce} for 1 hour or as long as overnight.

Place tempeh on an outdoor grill or in an oven broiler, and cook on each side 5 minutes, or just until the sauce on each side has started to blacken. Place each tempeh piece on a whole-wheat bun and serve immediately with extra, warmed sauce on the side.
